Pack it or Leave it Part. 1: Xbox 360
Alright, here is the first of a few (maybe… maybe not). Moving to Korea and not just going there on vacation makes a huge difference when it comes to packing. There are a ton of things I need to take into consideration: how much space it’ll take up, weight, how much I’ll use it out there, etc. First tough decision I ran into: my beloved Xbox 360.  Pack it or leave it? ...

I Got it Bad
I am going through some serious gadget withdrawal.. I am lusting for electronic gadgets, haven’t been able to buy anything for a while now. Being unemployed sucks. I’m just waiting to go to Korea so I could finally start work and finally have some kind of income and then finally BUY STUFF! God, I want to BUY STUFF so bad… >_<

Anonymous asked: Do you ever make it through a day without having any kimchi and feel empty and unfulfilled?

Question Part 2: Do you more often have an American breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, etc.) or a Korean breakfast (fish, rice, kimchi, etc.)? How do you expect this to change when you move to Seoul and how do you feel about it?

In other words, which is better - greasy delicious...

chriscrutchfield: This is a must see for anyone who has ever thought of themselves as a creative. I like it a lot. Its a TED talk from a writer named Elizabeth Gilbert and its worth the watch. Trust me.

New iPhone leaked! Thanks Gizmodo!
What’s new • Front-facing video chat camera • Improved regular back-camera (the lens is quite noticeably larger than the iPhone 3GS) • Camera flash • Micro-SIM instead of standard SIM (like the iPad) • Improved display. It’s unclear if it’s the 960x460 display thrown around before—it certainly looks like it, with the “Connect to iTunes” screen displaying much...

Butterflies Inside
Is it possible to have “butterflies in your stomach” for an extended period of time… say, 2 months? It’s not a good kind either. I’m really excited for new things to come but also scared of losing what I got. Well, regardless, whats going to happen will happen, we’ll see how it all goes… Damn you butterflies. To you current ex pats… any advice...

MUSIC! "I'd like to order today's special please"
I’ve been in a musical desert these days and I need some new stuff to listen to! Here we go, can everyone reply with just one ALBUM that I probably haven’t heard yet (not to confuse you, I haven’t really listened to much, I ain’t no music guru or anything). Individual songs that are great can be for another time but I’m looking for just full all around good albums.  ...

Personal Update!
Health Since last time my weight loss has been going a bit slower but still a good pace. I’ve dropped off 7 more pounds. Been doing well with my hydration! consistent 10 cups of water a day! (it’s quite tough actually) My sleeping pattern has cycled through and now I’m sleeping like a “normal” person if not just an old person.. I fall asleep at like 9-10pm and...

What is your favorite thing to photograph?
I would have to say my favorite thing to photograph is live music. It’s fast, exciting, and a challenge! The lighting is always spectacular and dramatic. There is constant motion forcing you to manually focus every shot and the constant change in lighting forces you to expose every shot manually. The stage is filled with all kinds of emotion and expression. Not just the stage, but the crowd...

I lost my mind in Seoul...: "I love pimples!" →
Today one of my older classes got completely distracted from the whole English thing today, when they noticed that one of the men pictured in our textbook had a zit. They started talking in Korean. I had no idea what was going on. Me: “Hey… English class! Let’s try to use English! What’s going on?” Theodore: “Teacher! You like pickle?” Me: “Pickles? The food you eat with pizza?” Theodore:...
